Refrigerant Gases

R134a (1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane) is a non-flammable, non-toxic HFC refrigerant widely used in automotive air conditioning, domestic refrigeration, and commercial chillers. It has an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of 0, but a high Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1,430. It acts as a standard replacement for R-12, offering excellent stability and heat transfer performance. 

R404A is a widely used HFC refrigerant blend (R-125/143a/134a) designed for low and medium-temperature commercial, industrial, and transport refrigeration, serving as a common replacement for R-502 and R-22. It is a non-flammable, colorless, low-toxicity gas (ASHRAE A1) with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), though it has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3922. 

R32 refrigerant is a high-efficiency, single-component HFC gas commonly used in modern air conditioners as an environmentally friendly alternative to R410A. It boasts a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of , which is roughly  lower than R410A, along with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). R32 is classified as A2L (mildly flammable), offering superior energy efficiency and improved heat

R22 refrigerant (Chlorodifluoromethane) is a high-purity ($\geq$99.5%) hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) gas widely used for residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration. It is colorless, non-flammable, and suitable for low-temperature applications, though it is being phased out globally due to ozone depletion and high Global Warming Potential (GWP).
